Salary Grade:  Non-exempt   

Reports to:  Marina Manager

Job Description:  Maintain all operations for boating activity in the Marina. Employee recognizes that the member comes first and conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Job Functions:

Dispense fuel to all vessels.

Familiarize members with rental boats upon arrival each day.

Clean rental boats after every use or when otherwise specified.

Rental boats check-in/out.

Kayak/Canoe/Paddle Board rentals.

Keep all docks in working order.

Contact the Marina Manager with all repair/maintenance issues with any boat.

Drives the water taxi when applicable.   

Assist all members with any requests that they have.

Assist Marina Manager with any and all tasks

Competencies: Working knowledge of all watercraft operations Geographical knowledge of both lake and land  Ability to the trailer all types of watercraft  Physical Coordination Ability to follow written and oral instructions Time Management Ability to swim

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: Outdoor work primarily; temperatures often exceed 100 degrees and can drop below 30 degrees Physical Demands: Employees should be able to work long hours in all types of weather.  Employees will be able to lift more than 50 lbs on a regular basis as well as be able to climb on top of or down into a boat.Travel: Employees may be asked to travel varying lengths on the lake in a watercraft.

Required Education and Experience:  High School Diploma 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Prior boating experience   

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (If applicable): The candidate will be required to pass a background screening.
