Job description

Dock Hand

A dock hand performs a variety of tasks to assist boaters and ensure smooth operations at the marina. Responsibilities include exhibiting conduct in accordance with all gaming commission regulations, federal and state laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service. Docks boats properly. Ensures cleanliness of the docks. Communicates with the boaters in a professional manner. Reports all incidents and abnormalities to the marina operations supervisor. Performs marina related duties as required.

Qualifications include the ability to swim and general knowledge of lifesaving techniques. A high school diploma is preferred. Minimal experience in marina operations is required. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Pay range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00/hr. Tipped position. This position does not earn tips.
