The Driver position at HoneyTree Early Learning Centers, Inc. is a critical role responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of children from local schools. Attention to safety, compliance, and excellent route planning are paramount to minimize delays. Ultimately, this position supports HoneyTree Early Learning Centers, Inc.'s mission ensuring that the safety of all children is met with professionalism and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia driver's license (Regular Van Drivers)
  • CDL with a School Bus/Passenger Endorsement (CDL Buses)
  • Previous experience operating a large capacity vehicle
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS navigation systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in childcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle pre-trip troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
