Job description

Summary:
As a key member of the Claims Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Material Damage & Property Claims will lead the strategic and operational evolution of our material damage and property claims organization. This executive will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of material damage and property claims, while driving transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction. With a strong blend of operational discipline and forward-thinking leadership, this position will shape a modern, responsive, and customer-centric claims environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred
Experience: 9 - 11 years or Master's Degree equivalent plus 7 - 9 years
Knowledge: Extensive level of professional knowledge in field across multiple disciplines and broad business segment. Extensive knowledge of management practices.
In depth Claims management experience with a proven progression in Sr Leadership and Executive level roles. In depth knowledge in customer relationship management, Insurance fraud management, legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborative and passionate about leading with a Strategic focus, indepth industry knowledge with a keen interest in market and industry trends.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Salary Range $200,000 - $270,000
