Sr Systems Engineer Manufacturing

The Sr Systems Engineer Manufacturing based out of CAVA’s Verona, VA plant willlead key technical functions for CAVA’s Manufacturing Teams focused on the following core responsibilities: Hardware and software management of operational technology (OT), facility management, and mobile technology. You will have the opportunity to support our manufacturing capability at all stages, through design, implementation, and continuous improvement. In this role you will ensure proper monitoring and operation of our manufacturing systems to facilitate effective and efficient operations. You will leverage feedback and data to deliver a high level of performance across critical manufacturing technology functions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support CAVA manufacturing operational technology systems:
    • Maintain inventory of equipment and systems.
    • Provide field support for any issues encountered and bring them to a speedy resolution.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and patching are conducted.
    • Design, build, and manage OT technology systems to ensure a high state of operations and reliability.
    • Drive vendor management accountability to SLAs and other contractual obligations to ensure the ongoing functioning of OT operations.
    • Identify opportunities for long term cost optimization.
    • Ensure the successful procurement of technical equipment required to support growth objectives.
    • Leverage data to identify problem areas that require remediation.
    • Ensure proper security controls are in place for access and communication with OT network.
  • Support CAVA manufacturing facility management systems:
    • Ensure CAVA facility management systems are maintained, monitored, and highly reliable.
    • Continually improve facility management technology systems and coverage.
    • Drive vendor management accountability to SLAs and other contractual obligations to ensure the ongoing functioning of OT operations.
    • Identify opportunities for long term cost optimization.
  • Support CAVA Manufacturing mobile technology:
    • Maintain inventory and configuration management for mobile technology.
    • Ensure proper maintenance, patching, and handling procedures for mobile technology.
    • Provide field support for any issues encountered and bring them to a speedy resolution.
The Qualifications:
  • Minimum of2years of experiencewithdemonstratedsuccess as anengineerprovidinga track recordof driving change and fostering innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related programpreferred.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative to pursue goals.
  • A collaborative team player that can support and help align cross functional team initiatives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes.
