Job description

We combine robotics with world-class software engineering to build low-latency systems that coordinate complex robotic operations and learn from production data, delivering AI-native solutions with speed, reliability, and quality at scale. You will work with passionate builders who are customer-obsessed and committed to technical excellence in applying buffer-centric and flow optimization principles to create environments where humans and robots work safely and efficiently together. In this environment, your contributions directly impact the ability to serve customers worldwide by optimizing entire systems rather than individual components.
Key job responsibilities

- Architect and deliver automation, including AI-driven self-healing and predictive maintenance capabilities, to reduce operational toil and improve consistency at scale across managed systems.
- Apply security-first design principles, establishing and maintaining identity management (AAA) using Amazon standard tooling (Federate, idPrism, Authguard) and ensuring all systems adhere to security policies and least-privilege principles.
- Implement observability and application integrations using AWS tooling to support growing operational demands at scale.
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and business continuity for managed applications. Proactively identify recurring issues and drive resolution metrics to systematically improve system reliability.
- Assist with technical aspects of software vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
- Participate in a team oncall rotation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience building tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
