Job Summary:

The Engineering Project Manager will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within our pump manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, proven project management skills, and an understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to pumps.


Primary Job Duties:

  ·Manage multiple engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer expectations.

· Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement to achieve project objectives.

· Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to meet milestones.

· Oversee technical design and development of pump products, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

· Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and operational challenges promptly.

· Communicate project status, issues, and successes to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and clients.

· Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in engineering and project management.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree a plus

· 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, preferably in pump or related industries.

· Strong understanding of pump design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.

· Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project).

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to solve complex engineering problems and make effective decisions under pressure.

· PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.


Working Conditions

· Office and manufacturing plant environment.

· Occasional travel to supplier sites, customer locations, and industry events.

· Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
