The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the management and delivery of capital equipment, facility layout, and product transfer projects in accordance with each project's requirements and according to SWEP project management processes. This position is expected to manage the project scope, schedule, and cost while also assessing and managing risks. The Project Manager will coordinate and communicate with all appropriate project stakeholders, ensuring deliverables and milestones are on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans that include defining scope and objectives while creating detailed project plans to guide team efforts ensuring stays within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Manage resources that could include assembling cross-functional teams and allocating necessary resources to maintain productivity, optimizing team support, and project efficiency.
  • Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions that maintain project stability and prevent delivery delays.
  • Monitoring projects by continuously reviewing actual performance against planned schedules to identify and resolve any bottlenecks
  • Report and document detailed project status reports for upper management while archiving project records for future internal use.
  • Participating in the development of SWEP project management processes.
  • Live and Act according to our Code of Ethics and Basic Beliefs  

Qualification and Skills:

   Relevant Engineering degree (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or at least 5 years of work experience in manufacturing

   Proficient with AutoCAD

   Fluent in English, SWEP's corporate language.

   Proven project management experience and capability.

   Exposure in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.

   Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email.

   Ability to self-motivate and possess independent problem solving.

   Positive attitude and committed to achieving business excellence.

   Effective communication skills.

   Takes initiative and works independently.

   Responsible and flexible.
