  • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment

A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Tech Specialist (Swing) to support the assembly and production of high-quality microcircuit components in a precision manufacturing environment, assembling, inspecting, and processing delicate electronic components using specialized equipment, following detailed work instructions and quality standards, maintaining strict ESD and cleanroom protocols, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Manufacturing Tech Specialist (Swing) Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, process, and manufacture microcircuit components using specialized equipment, including bonders, pick-and-place machines, epoxy dispensers, manual assembly tools, precision hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment while meeting established production and quality standards.
  • Inspect, handle, and process delicate materials and small, sensitive components using microscopes and precision inspection techniques, performing high-precision visual assessments to ensure product quality, consistency, functionality, and compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, detailed work instructions, and manufacturing documentation while working independently under the guidance of production coordinators and collaborating with engineers, trainers, and manufacturing team members to achieve production goals.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures, ESD and cleanroom protocols, safety requirements, and quality standards while identifying concerns, communicating issues through the appropriate chain of command, and maintaining a high level of workmanship.
  • Maintain accurate production records, utilize computer systems to support manufacturing operations, and contribute to continuous process improvements while supporting additional production activities as needed.

Manufacturing Tech Specialist (Swing) Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controlled manufacturing and cleanroom environment.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with expertise in the precise handling, assembly, and inspection of small, delicate, and sensitive materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, detailed work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency for production documentation and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with assembly, inspection, and quality assurance processes in a precision manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience using precision hand tools and manufacturing equipment such as bonders, pick-and-place machines, epoxy dispensers, or similar automated production equipment is preferred.
  • Experience using microscopes to perform high-precision visual inspections and assessments is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, electronics assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, or a related precision manufacturing environment is preferred.
