Summary: Provide structured, accurate, and timely scheduling support to enable effective production planning and execution. This role supports production planning and scheduling by maintaining data integrity, preparing schedules and reports, and ensuring visibility across Simplex's Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.ย 



Duties

Pull, validate, and maintain production scheduling data from Epicor.

Prepare and update production schedules, reports, and visual planning tools as directed by the Production Planner.

Maintain accurate job status, key dates, and assumptions within scheduling tools.

Track changes, updates, and revisions to schedules and ensure version control.

Maintain schedule data within Excel, SharePoint, and other approved planning tools.

Update visual boards, dashboards, and shared reports used in daily and weekly production reviews.

Ensure schedule information is clearly displayed, current, and accessible to stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement of scheduling tools and visual management systems.

Work with Engineering, Materials, and Operations teams to gather accurate status updates.

Support supervisors and team leads by providing current, approved schedule information.

Escalate data discrepancies, missing information, or system issues to the Production Planner.

Support meeting preparation, follow-ups, and action tracking related to production scheduling.

Maintain a high standard of data accuracy, consistency, and discipline.

Document assumptions, notes, and exceptions related to scheduling activities.

Perform other planning and scheduling support tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing, planning, or production support role preferred.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, strong organizational skills.

Working knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Excel.

Comfort working with schedules, reports, and visual management tools.

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Associate degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, operations, or business
