Job description

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GREEN BAY WISCONSIN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops routings/methods for manufacturing parts, fabrications and assemblies
  • Responsible for establishing the manufacturing Bill of Materials is complete and accurate
  • Responsible for creating item master numbers used for purchasing and manufacturing of components of the Bill of Materials
  • Validates estimated time to manufacture (parts, fabrications, assemblies) for finalized routings
  • Print and distribute paperwork produced to proper departments
  • Read and interpret prints and drawings
  • Adhere to ISO and quality procedures
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Requirements for Education, Skillset, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in manufacturing engineering or related field is preferred
    • In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience in a similar and or metal fabrication role is required

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 3 years planning or similar role experience in a metal fabrication environment with increasing responsibility is desired
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes including but not limited to cold saw, band saw, shears, laser cutting, water jet cutting, press brake forming, deburring, metal finishing, machining, welding and assembly
  • Working knowledge of part inspection process and associated equipment preferred
  • Working knowledge of painting, thermal spray, heat treating, chemical coatings process is preferred
  • Working knowledge of metal working processes including stamping, roll forming and pipe bending preferred
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system and creating routings within required
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints is required
  • Ability to view drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word/Excel/ERP System required
  • Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with position is required
  • Experience successfully working alone as well as in a team setting
  • Working knowledge of AWS and Military welding procedures and specifications is preferred
  • Working knowledge of metals and associated materials is required
