General Description of Duties

The Manufacturing Operations Manager oversees all aspects of production activity. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production processes while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role leads and motivates teams, implements best practices, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational goals. This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with those inside and outside the company, while achieving and enhancing performance standards.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Manage and coordinate daily manufacturing operations.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  3. Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
  4. Lead, train and mentor supervisors and production staff to foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  5. Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  6. Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production targets and deadlines.
  7. Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  8. Oversee equipment and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure operational readiness of all machinery.
  9. Support new product launches and process changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
