Position Overview
We are looking for a 1st or 2nd shift, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support our advanced optics manufacturing team. This position requires experience in manufacturing environment with a strong focus on precision, accuracy, and quality. The right candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and bring a passion for working with advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machining equipment
  • Experience working on a manufacturing floor
  • Perform visual inspection and measurement of optical components
  • May collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure parts meet rigorous standards
  • Document processes, maintain accurate production records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of hands-on machining operating experience in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of basic manufacturing tools and machinery
  • Familiarity with ultra-precision diamond turning equipment a plus
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional quality work
