PAY RANGE: $18.00-$23.00/hour based upon experience, plus benefits.
THE COMPANY: General Manufacturing designs and manufactures Ultradyne rifle sights and muzzle breaks. We proudly manufacturer all of our products and accessories in the USA with headquarters located in Columbia, MO. All of our products are engineered using a scientific approach which is reflected in the high quality of our designs. Every design contains unique features maximizing performance to provide our customers with the best experience possible.
THE FIREARMS ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN POSITION: Our Firearms Assembly Technician will will wear multiple hats within the firearms production process. You will be responsible for a variety of finishing stages such as laser engraving, sandblasting, tumbling, deburring, assembling, and assist with shipping/receiving operations.
FIREARMS ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Operate and maintain laser engraving equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure the correct application of serial numbers, logos, and other markings on firearm components.
  • Utilize sandblasting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing processes.
  • Perform tumbling procedures to achieve the desired finish on firearm parts.
  • Monitor and adjust tumbling equipment to meet quality specifications.
  • Conduct deburring operations on firearm components to ensure smooth surfaces and eliminate sharp edges.
  • Inspect parts for quality and precision after deburring processes.
  • Assembly of rifle scope and muzzle break parts into the finished product.
  • Assist with inventory tracking of both parts and assembled products.
  • Quality control for parts and assembled products.
  • Troubleshoot part/product issues and identify potential design flaws.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including packing and unpacking firearm components.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments.

FIREARMS ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
  • REQUIRED; Positive attitude and hard worth ethic.
  • REQUIRED; Attention to details
  • PREFERRED; Experience with laser engraving, sandblasting, tumbling, deburring, assembling or shipping.
  • PREFERRED; Knowledge of gun accessories
  • Flexibility in your schedule; can potentially work some weekends as needed when product demand fluctuates.
