Wages and Hours

  • Base Pay: $26.00 +, depending on experience
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 1st shift exact hours to be determined
  • Monthly Bonus Opportunity: earn up to $250 monthly safety and attendance bonus

We are searching for a skilled manufacturing maintenance technician for 1st shift.


Primary Functions

Perform a variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Seeking a proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.


Duties and Overall Responsibilities

· Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

· Perform highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

· Program or edit Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

· Respond to breakdowns to quickly restore equipment to operational status

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

· Follow all safety regulations and procedures

· Assist Maintenance Manager as needed

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting that may at times be in excess of 50Ibs, up to 100Ibs. The Maintenance Technician should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.


Skills and Experience

· Basic math skills – counting, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division

· Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and the ability to diagnose and repair malfunctions

· In-depth knowledge of various trades

· Ability to quickly identify the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team

· Effective communication skills with other technicians, machine operators and management

· At least three years experience in a manufacturing environment
