Manufacturing Associate - Dalton, GA
Position Overview
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our manufacturing and distribution teams. Associates in these roles play a key part in producing and transporting high-quality flooring solutions for residential and commercial customers.
We are hiring for multiple positions within our manufacturing facility, including:
  • Production Associate
  • Creeler
  • Creeler Operator
  • Utility Relief
  • Lift Truck Operator (LTO)
  • Machine Operator

Shift 3
Sunday - Thursday
11:00pm-7:00am
Shaw Industries will provide training to help you develop your skills and grow within the company. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned department and role, your duties may include:
  • Each role has different lifting, reach, and physical movement requirements. Typical requirements include the ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and push repetitively.
  • May need to climb ladders and stairs depending on the position.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs - 50lbs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned work areas, including production floors and staging zones.

General
  • Follow all safety, attendance, and performance policies.
  • Participate in shift communication and team efforts to maintain workflow.
  • Work necessary overtime as required by production demands.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull repetitively.
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. - 50 lbs, occasionally more depending on role.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
