Title: QA Manual Tester
Location: Raleigh, NC
Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to support large-scale initiatives within the insurance domain while working alongside Compliance and Regulatory testing teams. While there is currently no automation on these projects, this role provides strong foundational experience that supports future growth into more advanced testing initiatives.
This role will be responsible for validating end-to-end functionality of core policy administration systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and verifying complex business workflows as new requirements are introduced.
This role requires the ability to interpret business and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and data setups.
Candidates must bring strong Quality Assurance fundamentals including:
  • Test planning
  • Test case creation
  • Test execution
  • Defect documentation
  • Root-cause identification
  • Retesting
Experience working cross-functionally with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other QA team members is essential to ensure high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, business rules, and workflows for new system enhancements
  • Design and execute manual test cases across core insurance workflows
  • Create and manage structured test data for complex scenarios
  • Validate calculations, forms, and business rules
  • Log defects with clear reproduction steps and partner with teams for resolution
  • Ensure thorough regression and end-to-end testing prior to release
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed
