Job Description We are seeking a Software Engineer V to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in databases, operating systems-level software, and full SDLC delivery and a proven ability to design, secure, and scale enterprise software and data platforms. Responsibilities: Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems.

Instruct staff to write and code logical and physical database descriptions and define database identifiers for management systems. Direct database development and approve project scope, constraints, and deliverables. Review project requests, assess user needs, and estimate timelines and costs.

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, damage, or disclosure. Approve, schedule, and supervise installation and testing of new products and system improvements. Develop standards and guidelines for software use, acquisition, and protection of sensitive information.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in database technologies and systems programming, including SQL and related tooling. Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently, manage time, and mentor team members with constructive feedback.

Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from analysis and requirements through testing and delivery. Expert troubleshooting skills with capability to implement system changes to resolve issues. Solid knowledge of computer hardware and software fundamentals.

Experience with development software for systems, such as SQL and Visual Basic. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience designing and testing operating systems-level components, compilers, or network distribution software.
