Job description

Operates waterjet cutting machine. Accurately and efficiently performs cutting jobs by understanding the part drawing, or job instructions, cutting the parts and performing inspections. Independently executes all setups and has a complete understanding of the machine control and can perform basic programming.
Full-time (M-Th 2:30pm - 1:00am)
Essential Functions:
  • Makes parts that conform to the drawing specifications.
  • Meets or exceeds job time standards as much as possible.
  • Independently performs all setups and executes them efficiently.
  • Troubleshoots problems with the machine control and part programs.
  • Forklift certified and use the forklift to load and unload material at the machine.
  • Crane certified.
  • Perform secondary operations such as drilling, tapping and deburring.
  • Completely and accurately fills out job paperwork and inspection reports.
  • Keeps the work area clean and organized.

Non-Essential Functions:
  • Maintain a positive image for the company.
  • Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Physical Demands:
  • Lift over 50 lbs.
  • Work while standing for a full shift.
