What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

High-level managerial roles such as vessel managers or senior maritime executives can reach or exceed $500,000 annually, especially with bonuses and profit sharing. These positions typically require extensive experience, leadership skills, and industry-specific certifications, often within large shipping or logistics companies. Compensation at this level is rare and usually associated with executive or specialized roles in the maritime or transportation sectors.

How much does a vessel planner make?

A vessel planner's salary typically ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and company size. Senior vessel planners or those with specialized skills may earn higher wages, and the role often requires knowledge of scheduling software and maritime operations.

How much does a ship planner make?

A vessel or ship planner typically earns between $50,000 and $80,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and the size of the company. Entry-level positions may start lower, while experienced managers with specialized skills can earn higher salaries, often supplemented with benefits and bonuses.

What jobs will no longer exist in 2030?

By 2030, roles such as manual vessel schedulers and traditional cargo planners may decline due to increased automation and digitalization in maritime logistics. Manager Vessel Planners will likely see a shift toward roles requiring advanced skills in vessel tracking, data analysis, and maritime software tools, as AI and automation handle routine tasks. Adaptation to new technologies will be essential for future job security in this field.
