Mid-level RF Test and Measurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Mid-level RF Engineer to lead complex RF test and measurement initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a technical lead for advanced antenna ranges, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, and high-power microwave test cells.
HOW WILL THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE?
  • Mission: This role is dedicated to solving intricate technical problems and providing timely, mission-critical solutions to support our country's warfighters.
  • How: By using industry best practices and bringing the following to the team:
    • System Design & Integration: Design, build, and field measurement systems.
    • Advanced Testing: Conduct experimental measurements using state-of-the-art measurement equipment.
    • Lab Development: Assist in the development of requirements and the acquisition of equipment for RF test lab expansions and facility moves.
    • Documentation: Document experimental measurement results and collection procedures in accordance with established professional standards.

WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?
  • Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering field
  • Experience Level: Mid-level (5+ years of relevant work experience)
  • RF Expertise: Experience with network analyzer-based measurement systems, instrumentation radars, and positioner/cable management systems.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues and perform precision alignment of reflectors and feeds using optic properties.
  • Security Requirements- Active Security Clearance. Applicants must be US citizens capable of maintaining a US DoD security clearance.
  • Preferred Skills & Certifications
    • Advanced Training: Completion of specialized coursework in the areas of RCS and other measurement areas.
    • Technical Versatility: Background in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Radar Signal Processing: Familiarity with radar signal processing with basic knowledge of signal processing techniques related to radar measurements and radar based imaging (SAR, ISAR, etc.).
