  • Develop system architectures, interface definitions, integration approaches, and technical implementation plans.
  • Evaluate communications protocols, waveform implementations, system interoperability, and end-to-end system performance.
  • Support laboratory development activities including hardware selection, capability planning, system design, and technical trade studies.
  • Perform technical analysis of communications systems and supporting technologies.
  • Support system testing, experimentation, validation, and technical assessments.
  • Document technical findings and communicate results to engineering teams and government stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with software-defined radio platforms such as Ettus USRP, BladeRF, HackRF, LimeSDR, or similar technologies.
  • Experience designing and integrating laboratory, prototype, research, or test environments.
  • Experience with RF communications systems, wireless technologies, tactical communications systems, satellite communications systems, or networking technologies.
  • Experience with communications protocols, waveform technologies, or communications architectures.
  • Experience with digital signal processing concepts and communications theory.
  • Experience with embedded systems, FPGA-based systems, or custom hardware platforms.
  • Experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, vector signal analyzers, or similar equipment.
  • Experience performing system-level analysis, integration, and technical evaluation of communications technologies.

Basic Compensation:
