Job description

Learning Management Systems Administrator (Part-Time)

Location: Denver, CO
Schedule: Part-Time, 15โ€“20 hours/week
Employment Type: Temporary
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with potential to transition to remote
Compensation: $55,000โ€“$65,000 annualized, depending on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Learning Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of our Learning Management System (LMS). This role will be responsible for user support, course and student enrollments, system updates, reporting, and learner incentive programs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, comfortable learning new technology, and able to work independently. Direct LMS experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage user accounts, registrations, enrollments, and access within the LMS.
  • Create and duplicate courses and ensure course information is accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to support tickets and user questions, generally within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Complete bulk student enrollments and teacher requests within established timelines.
  • Process badges, awards, incentives, and related notifications.
  • Generate and analyze enrollment, participation, and engagement reports.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate more complex technical issues when needed.
  • Maintain process documentation and identify opportunities to improve system efficiency.
  • Monitor the LMS regularly to ensure requests and issues are addressed promptly.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in technology, administration, customer support, education, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable learning and navigating new technology platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Prior experience with an LMS, SaaS platform, or similar system is a plus.
Additional Details

This position is approximately 15โ€“20 hours per week and is primarily project-based, with some increased activity on Mondays and at the beginning of each month. Initial onboarding will take place in person in Denver, with the potential to transition to a fully remote schedule once the individual is fully trained and demonstrating proficiency.
