Job description

Track Timekeeper

For over 35 years, ISC has provided safe, high quality electrical, instrumentation and controls solutions to global leading industrial manufacturers. With offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, Corpus Christi, and Columbus, as well as job sites around the country, ISC has grown our team as high 3,000+ associates and offers full-service engineering, construction, and maintenance solutions throughout the United States.

We are looking for a Track Timekeeper who will be responsible for maintaining proper communication and documentation between the project team and field.

  • Responsible for generating client daily time sheets, audit sheets, head counts, and obtaining client approval signatures on time sheets and invoices.
  • Responsible for ISC weekly time summary sheets to payroll.
  • Responsible for providing Cost Control Team with time/cost information for updates.
  • Responsible for all accruals, projections, and other accounting reports to home office; all accounting functions.
  • Responsible for assisting in rate change or transfer slips, subcontractor manpower reports, analyzing overhead percentages and craftsman composites and reports to Supervision.
  • Attend weekly jobsite staff meetings.
  • Attend weekly jobsite safety meetings.

Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience as a timekeeper or other clerical positions.
  • Proficient knowledge of Client Programs (SAP, CCTS, Track, Atlas, etc.), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), and Vista.
  • Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.
  • Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
  • Proficient knowledge of all departmental procedures and how they interrelate.
  • Reasonable ability to self-manage especially in the areas of planning, organizing delegating and decision-making.
  • Strong mindset especially in the areas of being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and energy.
  • Must be able to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
