About the Role

Technology plays a critical role in keeping Express Flooring running—and as our IT Operations Manager, you'll be at the center of it.

Reporting to the Director of IT, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department, ensuring our teams have the technology, support, and systems they need to succeed. You'll help lead our IT Support team, drive operational excellence, manage technology projects, and continuously improve the processes that keep our business connected and productive.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing technical expertise with team development, process improvement, and project execution. Job Type: Hybrid — typically 4 days in-office / 1 day remote
Compensation: $95,000-105,000 + Bonus opportunity
Location: 43rd Ave & Washington (Corporate Office)
Schedule: Flexible start times available — 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm shifts.

What You'll Do
  • Overseeing daily IT operations, prioritizing support requests, assigning work, mentoring technicians, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues involving infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, business applications, voice systems, and mobile devices.
  • Driving continuous improvement of our IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including administration of Jira Service Management.
  • Managing technology projects from planning through implementation, coordinating timelines, resources, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintaining documentation, asset inventories, security controls, and operational standards that support a secure, scalable IT environment.
  • Partnering with vendors to coordinate installations, service requests, and project deliverables.
  • Supporting the Director of IT by making sound operational decisions and helping ensure the department runs efficiently every day.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, infrastructure, technical support, or a related field.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating the work of technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes; Jira Service Management experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven success managing multiple technology projects from planning through completion.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking, endpoint management, enterprise applications, and mobile device administration.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering an exceptional technology experience for end users.
