Position Summary:
Operational responsibility and direction of the Subway facility and staff. Maintain all Subway products, services, equipment, policies and procedures. Ensure exceptional food service quality and customer service to enhance business and profitability. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, prep and cleanliness. Support and promote customer satisfaction and sales growth. Recruit staff, oversee training, and maintain business records, inventory, cash control and security.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; and college degree, preferred.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum one year experience as a Cliff's Subway Coordinator or Associate or two years Restaurant experience in supervising and training staff, preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Successful completion of all company sponsored RTO training. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Candidate may also be required to successfully complete additional and ongoing certifications for this position to include, but not limited to ServSafe or equivalent Food Service program, franchise specific certification (e.g. Subway), Alcohol Certification (ABC) and Tobacco Certification.
Major Accountabilities:
Employee interviewing and selection of Subway personnel, perform employee reviews, evaluate employee productivity and efficiency, and recommend employees for promotions or any other changes in status. Develop work schedules that do not exceed labor hour's budget. Employee training to standards set forth by training aids, manuals and Subway specific procedures. Direct and plan employees' work to coincide with the Subway concepts as defined by franchise requirements. Maintain sales and margin goals. Administer disciplinary action when warranted and determine proper action to take within the guidelines of company policy. Accountable to the Store Manager. Determine and order the food and supplies necessary to maintain appropriate levels. Employee must be actively involved in food safety training according to Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations. Interact with Federal, State, County or local representatives to maintain all necessary certifications and follow all regulations as dictated by said agencies. Responsible for monitoring and improving the health and safety for employees and the general public. Coordinate sales promotion activities and manage customer complaints. Maintain daily business records as outlined by Subway guidelines. Support local and national marketing initiatives. Complete specific Subway courses as directed. Responsible for communicating changes in food preparation, recipes and standards to staff. Plan special events and promotions. Responsible for performance reviews as published by a third party inspector. Prepare daily receipts and may be required to make deposits (must have valid driver's license and access to vehicle). Run register.
