Functional Coordinator, Financial Aid
Job Description
Job Summary:
The NeSIS Financial Aid Functional Analyst is responsible to lead the administrative management of specific Financial Aid business function changes within the Student Information System (Oracle PeopleSoft software suite - Campus Solutions), Data Warehouse, Enterprise Tools, and integrated third party modules.
Responsibilities include: coordinating core system functionality and peripheral system components, understanding and implementing functional support for new releases, conducting and managing integration testing, expanding reporting capacity, documentation, and training. May be required to work weekend/evening hours or during peak periods.
Functional Areas:
Financial Aid including: Comments, Checklists and communication Generation(3C), Query Manager, development work in Application Designer and SQL developer, move code using Phire and Data Workbench, co-lead the PeopleTools upgrade new feature group, Load Testing member, assist troubleshooting contact as they pertain to Proofpoint, email, production scheduling, back up for eform/workflow packaging and other functional areas as assigned. 3rd part integrations leader Imaging (Perceptive Content).
This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Business, Management, Computer Science or related field
4 years experience in student information/business systems; with 2 years having emphasis in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
Knowledge and experience with Peoplesoft Campus Solutions
Equivalent combination of education and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with administrative systems in a college or university environment

Once a candidate is hired into this role, hybrid work arrangements (defined by NU ITS as a minimum of three days per week on one of the NU Campuses in Lincoln, Omaha or Kearney, NE and up to two days per week remote) may be available for candidates who successfully meet minimum performance criteria during the initial probationary employment period.
