Senior Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Sapphire is looking for a dynamic Senior Stakeholder Engagement Specialistto join the team in Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; El Segundo, CA; Houston, TX; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX; Seal Beach, CA; or Seattle, WA.

The selected candidate willplan and implementactivities toprepare the BDS enterprise for the modernization of its foundational systems through the conversion to the threebedrock Sapphire system of systems, which includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), ManufacturingOperations Management (MOM), and ProductData Management(PDM). This role is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and fostering a culture of adaptability andengagement across the organization.


Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) supports more than 100 product teams, as they enable Boeing business partner leaders to deliver our products and services to our customers. From building a better digital experience, to designing faster and more accurate manufacturing analytics, our products touch every aspect of our business. BDS is modernizing its foundational systems,enhancing its data strategies,and improving the alignment of its execution processes via a program called Sapphire that is a joint effort between BDS and IDT&S.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution ofstakeholder identification, analysis, and engagementstrategies to driveawareness, commitment,and adoption across stakeholder groups who influence and/or are impacted by themodernization of the ERP,MOM, and PDM systems

  • Lead efforts to drive sponsor alignment and createstrategic communicationsguidance-includingapproved messaging, templates,andartifacts-toensurecommunications are clear,consistent, and alignedacross all senders, receivers,and channels

  • Establishmetricsand feedback loopsto monitor and evaluatestakeholder engagementeffectiveness in alignment withprogram and business readiness objectives, usingreal-timestakeholder sentiments and insights toadapt andrefinestrategiesand plans

  • Partner with Business Readiness and Training leadstoidentify andactivatechange championnetworks,equipping champions withtoolkits, talking points, and coaching to effectivelyadvocate for the change and influence adoption across the business

  • Translate complex business and technical changes intohigh-quality, user-friendlycontentand artifacts(e.g., email campaigns,briefings, FAQs,presentations, talking points, websites, infographics, etc.) that drive awareness

  • Plan, design, and facilitate workshops, forums, roadshows, listening sessions, etc., tobolsteraccountabilityand action among sponsors and stakeholders

  • Partner with corporate comms teams to ensure compliance with Boeing's enterprisecommunications and branding policies, guidelines, and standards

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with large scale change management and business transformation projects

  • 10+ years of experience with stakeholder engagement, building coalitions and strategic alliances

  • 10+ years of experiencein facilitation, consulting, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications and/or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience with visual storytelling

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale system implementations such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), ManufacturingOperations Management (MOM), and ProductDataManagement (PDM)

  • 3+ yearsofexperience within information technology

  • Strongcommunication(verbal and written),analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Formal training orcertification in change management(e.g., CCMP,Prosci,or similar)

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
