GearUP has been one of the fastest growing companies in the Pacific Northwest since 2018, and we have so much opportunity ahead of us.
Position Summary: Gear Up is seeking a hands-on, experienced Supply Chain leader to oversee product flow optimization in and out of our decoration fulfillment centers. Working with trade partners and carriers you will ensure on-time delivery, within budget. You will work cross-functionally with merchandising, warehouse and the production teams to ensure apparel is available for rapid fulfillment to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities include:
โ€ข Perform daily track and trace for critical shipments.
โ€ข Coordinate LTL deliveries to our distribution centers.
โ€ข Generate bills of lading and coordinate outbound LTL and FTL shipments.
โ€ข Create and file export documentation.
โ€ข Manage and report on small parcel on time metrics.
โ€ข File carrier claims for lost packages.
โ€ข Audit freight bills and recoup overcharges for missed SLAs.
โ€ข Review regional small parcel routing and manage shipping software platform to maximize delivery performance and cost.
โ€ข Manage ERP driven product storage and put away strategies.
โ€ข Coordinate seasonal product rotations and apparel staging for efficient apparel movement within the facilities.
โ€ข Review and report volume performance against carrier agreements.
โ€ข Document, communicate and train the shipping teams on best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications & Education:
โ€ข At least 5 years experience in a high volume small parcel environment.
โ€ข A minimum of 2 years experience in export shipping and compliance is required.
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable ERP.
โ€ข Experience with configuring rules based SaaS shipping platforms.
โ€ข WMS implementation experience.
โ€ข Proficient in MS Office; Excel and Word.
โ€ข Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
โ€ข Strong time management and communication skills
โ€ข Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Able to learn and navigate new processes and computer applications.
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree or higher is desirable.
