QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of Technical management experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and proven experience with engagement management/resource management.
  • Experience supporting customers Life Science and Healthcare.
  • Prior experience in the staffing or recruiting industry.
  • Proven experience interacting with large, enterprise clients.
  • Proven experience tracking and managing financials and/or budgets.
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity.
  • Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

What will you be doing?
WWT currently has an opportunity available for a Strategic Engagement Manager to support our Global Financial US Strategic Resourcing business, based in New York.
The Strategic Engagement Manager will work with internal partners and customers to provide qualified staff for our Strategic Resourcing engagements. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for developing a strategy and plan to handle future growth in the various technical verticals through capacity planning, training, and process improvement. The successful manager will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineers as they execute their assigned engagements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage consultants who have been placed onsite with customers across our Life Science and Healthcare customer in the Eastern region of the US.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to consultants as needed while on assigned engagements.
  • Collaborate with RM to onboarding new consultants.
  • In collaboration with sales, lead the following discussions through regular meetings with stakeholders and other internal team members,
    • Extensions
    • New opportunities
    • Consultant utilization
    • Change order & PO updates
    • Invoicing updates
  • Function as the escalation path for any issues for both consultants and stakeholders
  • Provide the regular reporting to external and internal clients on the following,
    • Project Summary (should include list of resources by project, start and end date)
    • Consultant utilization (should include burn % and costs/resource)
    • Open roles (list of net new roles and any backfills required)
    • Change Orders/POs
  • Provide detailed invoicing report to customer (monthly or when requested by stakeholder or internal client)
  • Have a clear understanding of the client's environment, upcoming projects & initiatives & the ability to speak to certain specifics during discussions.
  • Encourage consultants to utilize Strategic Resourcing tools.
  • Consistently reinforce WWT and our Core Values
  • Effectively communicate changes and updates to both internal and external clients through emails and regular meetings.
  • Build relationships with entire sales cycle - Client Success Executive/Client Success Executive Managers, Account Managers, Hiring Managers, & SPA etc.
  • Track issues and risks- as needed.
  • Participate in the interviewing and intake calls with RM and client.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships to maintain current business and acquire net new.
  • Advocate for consultants and customer, when required.
