Electrical Assistant Project Manager


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related field preferred
  • Minimum two to three years of project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF files
  • Valid State Driver's License


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes, executes and adheres to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
  • Under guidance and supervision from the Project Manager, identifies and minimizes exposure and risks by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
  • Under guidance and supervision from the Project Manager, develops cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of projects.
  • Assists with coordinating and supervising internal crews and subcontractors as well as day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects.
  • Manages job-specific equipment needs, including sourcing, logistics, and safety assessments as needed.
  • Manages procurement of materials including issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries as needed.
  • Under guidance and supervision from the Project Manager, reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
  • Assists with tracking the schedule and associated costs of projects to achieve completion within the allocated time and budget.
  • Reports to the Project Manager about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors and clients.
  • Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting as needed.
  • Provides accounting with accurate job costing data and tracks job costs through the duration of a project.
  • Attends meetings and required training as needed.
  • Exemplifies time management skills to complete tasks as efficiently as possible.
  • Uses and continually develops leadership skills.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as required based on company's needs.
