Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage three Branch Managers, three Service Supervisors, and 15 Service Representatives
  • Travel to between the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus to work with staff and visit customers
  • Oversee all activities connected with customer service and retention including renewal agreement negotiation
  • Maintain profitability and material control of routes
  • Manage revenue and growth from the current customer base
  • Member recruitment, development, and awareness
  • Maintain budget for the entire Service department
  • Complete route assignment for new customers and re-routing to achieve maximum route efficiency
  • Oversee Service department safety participation
  • Ensure proper maintenance of fleet
  • Back up for all positions within Service department as needed
  • Typical work week of 45-55 hours
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Special attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage responsibilities and team members with multiple tasks at the same time
  • Self-motivated and structured

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred

  • Experience working with a diverse group of individuals
  • Experience developing and adhering to a budget and capital expenditures
