Description

Who We Are & About This Role

THE RISING TIDE LIFTS MORE GLASSES. When the apples align, greatness emerges - Introducing Blake's Beverage Co., a force born from the union of Avid Cider Co., Blake's Hard Cider, and Austin Eastciders. Our united mission: To reclaim cider's rightful place as America's drink. With a passion for bold, fruit-forward flavors, we craft beverages that resonate with a diverse audience. Fresh ingredients, a commitment to craft, and a rich 78-year history of family farming fuel our relentless dedication to the cider cause. With our feet firmly grounded in the soils of MI, TX, OR, and NY, we press on.

The Revenue Operations Accountant owns the financial engine behind our revenue cycle - keeping billing accurate, collections moving, and the books clean as we scale. This is a role for someone who sees the numbers behind the business and wants to make them work harder.

If you've untangled a messy AR aging, built a process that saved hours each week, or spotted a discrepancy no one else caught - we want to hear from you.

Your Role With Blake's - Key Responsibilities

Billing & Collections

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable - invoicing, payment application, and reconciliation across all revenue channels
  • Drive collections proactively; maintain aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances with a solutions-first approach
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve billing discrepancies quickly and accurately
  • Ensure invoices go out on time and reflect the right terms, pricing, and product details

General Ledger & Financial Accuracy

  • Record and reconcile revenue transactions with precision - debits, credits, and everything in between
  • Support month-end close: journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance explanations
  • Maintain clean records and audit trails; flag inconsistencies before they become problems
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Sales to ensure the numbers tell the right story

Systems, Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Own NetSuite for AR and revenue operations - keep it configured correctly and use it to its potential
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual work and improve accuracy
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, reconciliation, and exception identification
  • Build and document processes so the team isn't dependent on tribal knowledge

Requirements

What Great Looks Like - Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field
  • Hands-on accounts receivable experience - you've owned an AR process and know what good looks like
  • Solid command of debits and credits; comfortable with journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
  • A problem-solver's mindset - you don't just find the issue, you fix the root cause
  • Ability to work across departments and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Experience with NetSuite - ERP configuration, saved searches, or custom reports a plus
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools or automation in an accounting workflow
  • Background in consumer goods, food & beverage, or multi-location operations
  • CPA candidate or CPA license

How You're Rewarded - Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary, performance-based incentive, 401(k) with match, full health/dental/vision benefits, PTO, and all the perks of working at one of Michigan's most beloved farms. Full details shared during the interview process.

What's Next - How to Apply

Don't just send a resume into a void. Reach out on LinkedIn, visit a location, try the cider - show us you want in. We can't wait to meet the right person.

Blake's Beverage Company is an equal opportunity employer.
