Help
  • Communicates the organization's mission, vision, and values to the team and ensures they integrated into team goals, objectives, work plans, products, and services.
  • Explains to team members the actions items, projects and/or program issues under review, problems to be solved, and deadlines and timeframes for completion.
  • Distributes team assignments among team members in accordance with workflow, skill level, and specialization.
  • Designs, develops, and manages the risk management program to identify and analyze system security threats.
  • Analyzes pay systems concepts, specifications, and trouble reports to determine impact on assigned functions, feasibility, and interaction/interrelationship with other military pay subsystems.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: providing support in the analysis, implementation, maintenance, and/or enhancement of pay systems and programs to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of military pay systems.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Education
Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level.

Failure to become certified within the required time-frame may be grounds for removal from the position and/or from Federal service.
