POSITION SUMMARY

The Ghoman Group is seeking a professional and organized Human Resource to oversee human resources operations, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and employee development. The ideal candidate will be a people-focused HR professional who can work closely with hotel leadership and employees to maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related matters.

  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.

  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and employee training programs.

  • Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns.

  • Assist with payroll, attendance, scheduling, and employee timekeeping processes.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Handle employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace procedures.

  • Monitor employee performance reviews and assist managers with corrective actions when necessary.

  • Support employee retention and engagement initiatives.

  • Coordinate benefits administration and communicate benefit information to employees.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

  • Assist with workplace investigations and resolution of employee concerns.

  • Prepare HR reports and provide management with recommendations regarding staffing and employee matters.

  • Partner with hotel leadership to maintain a professional and positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.

  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.

  • Previous hotel or hospitality HR experience preferred.
