Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify necessary therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a variety of modalities, including individual and group therapies.
  • Equip clients with practical tools and strategies to manage their issues effectively, empowering them on their path to recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, referring clients to psychiatrists or other specialists to enhance their treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and services in the EHR system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be prepared to work with a diverse client population exhibiting a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, and more. You will have the opportunity to shape your practice based on your interests while remaining culturally responsive to the specific needs of your clients.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess an active and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with a variety of mental health issues.
Preferred Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
  • Experience using culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches to engage clients effectively.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, enabling you to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in utilizing EHR systems and related computer applications for documentation and communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient-centered care.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
