Program Manager Requirements for Retail Networks:

  • Key Program and Stakeholder manager to our Retail Tech team and to our Store Area leads (600+ stores globally)
  • Prioritize and work with engineering tech teams, support vendors, and store leads to coordinate and track support
  • Manage key programs and projects across the fleet of stores
  • Planning, purchasing, managing, tracking delivery of new network designs (Branch connectivity, Wireless, Circuit upgrades.)
  • Able to facilitate requirements, especially when problems are ambiguous
  • Able to work with all types of people and negotiate plans and drive great outcomes
  • Able to handle multiple time zones communications, planning
  • Has strong skills in translating, explaining business and technical impact, and influencing action to close issues; while still being considered a delightful person.
  • Able to manage $2-5M budgets

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring their program, comprised of multiple engineering teams, develops and delivers their commitments in support of driving digital experiences forward for our guests. This role works in lock step with our Product Management and Engineering Leadership by diligently leveraging agile frameworks to create and delivery to Digitals strategic goals. The Program Manager will lead a management team consisting of a Manager of Product, Engineering Manager, and Architect, to develop and deliver a cross functional roadmap that is a balance of customer, engineering, and architectural concerns. The Program Manager is constantly seeking ways to improve their set of teams to work more efficiently to delivery guest value. A continuous improvement culture will be facilitated by this role.

A day in the life: You will be responsible for maintaining a fast-paced agile set of teams that delivers updates, new experiences, and innovations, to the digital portfolio of experiences for Lululemon. You will work very closely with the Digital Manager of Product and Engineering Manager to integrate development with other teams, vendors, and/or shared resources. You will guide your product teams to adhere to the agile frameworks and maintain the highest standards of compliance, security, and scale. Use your skills, experience and talent to be a part of rapid and innovative development. As a Program Manager, youll take the lead as you

  • Develop and manage the technology cycle of strategic planning and delivery of customer value
  • Drive and manage processes that improve predictability and transparency, identifying dependencies, and ensuring that teams are working together efficiently to overcome roadblocks
  • Skilled at facilitating cross functional story writing and splitting exercising at the initiative, feature, and epics levels. Experienced at developing, interpreting, presenting, and delivering multi-level backlogs across a +$10M program of multiple agile teams. Drive the definition of the "what," and empower teams to define the "how."
  • This role works closely with Product and Engineering leadership, managers, and scrum masters as well as engineering, architecture, design, analytics, and other key team members to facilitate the delivery of innovative, cross-functional, and timely features to customers
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in program management with a keen understanding of team dynamics, product development/engineering, product management, and commitment to agile development methodologies
  • This role also emphasizes, coordinates, and communicates team improvement, and works to identify and overcome delivery roadblocks in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Comfortable leading informally across the organization to challenge the status quo and develop better ways to enhance the customer experience
  • Demonstrated success in working with and influencing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders, even in remote offices
  • Establish and extend best practice enterprise-wide by continuously iterating on program management processes and capturing best practices

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience from a mix of scrum master, product owner/manager, business analyst, and like, positions in eCommerce
  • Experience in driving TEAM joint roadmap development and refinement resulting in plans that have been delivered via agile methodologies
  • Experience with ecommerce and roll-out of new technologies, hardware and applications
  • Experience working in agile development including tools like JIRA, Confluence and others
  • Experience managing project budgets in excess of $10M
  • Strong communication skills, team management and ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Digital expertise and experience
  • Core understanding of mobile technologies and software development
  • 2 or more years of experience managing remote teams
  • Nice to have first level scrum training (Certified Scrum Master)
  • Demonstrated experience of instilling a continuous improvement culture
