Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to come join us here at Textile Exchange. The Quality Specialist isakey supportrole in thedevelopment,maintenanceand implementation of the Standard System Department'sinternal management systems (e.g.,document control, risk management, case management) and external compliance management systems(e.g.,ISEAL, EA 1/22).Collaboratingwith the Quality Manager,this roleensures that all systems are user-friendly, efficient, and consistently deliver high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation ofuser-friendly, efficient, and effective systems and internal procedures that ensure the quality, readability, consistency, and completeness of all Standards System documents. This includes, but is not limited to, standards, policies, guidelines, templates, and internal and external procedures.
  • Support the design and implementation of the StandardsSystem Department's document control, risk management, case management, and external compliance management systems, ensuring that all relevant staff are notified of required actions, responsibilities are clearly tracked, and all open items are resolved ina timelyand thorough manner.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operationalizethe Standard System'sdocument controlsystem and otherStandardOperatingProcedures.
  • Organize inputs and review processes of department definition updates to the Textile Exchange Glossary.
  • Operationalize the case management systemandmaintaindesignand functionality.
  • Collect inputsfrom department teamsand update the risk management system
  • Support thedepartmenttechnical leads for ISEAL compliance, supporting the upload of information to the org-wide tools.


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support work management inClickUp, for organizational OKRs, but also key project support.
  • Support thestandardsdevelopmentworkas needed to achieve mutual team goals.
  • Support project workstreams asappropriateand act as "champion" for key areas of work.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three combined years of experience working in standards systems and/or quality management.
  • Detail-oriented, logical, systematic, methodical, and highly organized.
  • Experienceworking indatabase systems with both external and internal users. Experience with a high volume of inquiries is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams and across departments.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, yet fast-paced remote environment, able to meet deadlines and share progress regularly.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Project Management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to communicate effectively across time zones.

Employment Package

Full-Time Position, 40 Hours a Week

Required travel: less than 10%

Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 USD
