The Field Operations Manager is an exciting position for those seeking a long-term field management opportunity. As an FOM, you will oversee a team of Market Sales Managers who demonstrate and promoteSamsung's industry-changing devices, creating brand awareness by interacting with prospective customers.

Your Role as a Field Operations Manager is to:

  • Coach Market Sales Managers (MSMs) on Samsung products and promotions

  • Provide daily direction, training, and guidance while ensuring retention of the team

  • Ensure team is exceeding client expectations and following company policy and procedures

  • Motivate and drive the team to increase sales within the Region

  • Maintain a high energy and professional attitude at all times

  • Create a memorable and positive experience for customers

  • Assist in driving sales and customer experience

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, motivate, direct, and coordinate activities of team members to meet and/or exceed sales and project goals

  • Personally accountable for team members and all documentation on team productivity

  • Responsible for accurately tracking sales, events, and merchandising projects

  • Successfully develop and build territory relationships through networking

  • Effectively provide daily direction, training, and guidance while ensuring retention of the team

  • Successfully determine staffing requirements following client and company directives

  • Ensure proper training of sales techniques, products, policies, etc.

  • Administer and document all counselling sessions and terminations accurately and promptly while following established procedures

  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed

  • Travel to locations regularly throughout the territory

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures

  • Attend meetings and conference calls as required in and out of the region as needed

  • Assist in temporarily overseeing retail locations as business needs dictate

  • Dress and act professionally at all times

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Performance Measurements:

  • Ensure team meets established weekly/monthly project goals/quotas

  • Customer/client satisfaction based on the territory's rejection percentages and substantiated complaints

  • Maintain proper headcount across regions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of retail and sales management experience required

  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions, and problem solve

  • Capable of working autonomously with excellent time management skills

  • Must be able to travel 50% or more of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours

  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
