The Opportunity:
As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you'll implement and maintain autonomous shipbuilding acquisition programs in support of our client. As an integral member of the team, you will be tasked with supporting the Assistant Program Manager (APM) in charge of future variants of an Unmanned Surface Vessel program. You will provide assistance to the APM in the form of tracking and reporting on schedule execution, financial execution against benchmarks, supporting development of Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation, tracking and reporting project risks as well as developing suggested risk mitigation strategies, development of briefings and project documents for presentation to senior military officers and Navy civilians, and ensuring consistent high-level product delivery to the APM.
The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you'll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.
Work with us and ensure that client accomplishes its project goals within budget as we improve delivery and integration of unmanned vessels into fleet operations to support warfighter requirements.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with using Microsoft Products such as Project, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
  • 3+ years of experience supporting RFP development
  • Knowledge of DoW acquisition guidance such as 5000.2G, including working with Request for Proposals (RFP), Statements of Work (SOW), CDRLs, and contract artifacts, and how these documents interact with one another
