Job Summary:

As the Manager, Project Success, you will ultimately be responsible for leading the Project Success Management (PSM) team, driving operational excellence, and ensuring consistent project support across the organization. You will oversee process improvements, develop project support strategies, and partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver successful project outcomes. As the Manager, Project Success, your customers are project managers, field operations, engineering teams, executive leadership, and internal business partners, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through operational leadership, process standardization, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Success Managers (PSMs) across assigned regions or project portfolios
  • Establish performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide coaching, and complete performance evaluations
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project support processes, playbooks, and operational toolkits
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, lessons learned, and opportunities across multiple projects
  • Monitor overall project portfolio health, identify systemic risks, and escalate issues requiring leadership intervention
  • Champion the adoption of project management systems, documentation standards, and operational best practices
  • Partner with Project Managers and functional leaders to proactively plan project support needs and resource allocation
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across project support functions
  • Review project performance metrics, financial reports, and operational dashboards to prioritize team activities
  • Develop reporting frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to measure Project Success team performance
  • Establish escalation processes that ensure timely resolution of operational issues
  • Represent the Project Success function during executive reviews by providing insights into project performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Project Success, Operations, Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, Human Resources, and Training teams
  • Support organizational readiness and adoption of new business processes and operational initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in project management, quality management, or project delivery
  • Previous experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience managing complex, multi-project portfolios in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional business teams
  • Experience utilizing project management systems, financial reporting tools, and operational dashboards

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational consistency
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
  • Strong project management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and technical reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a customer-focused approach
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
  • Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) or business process mapping
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and visual management tools
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects

  • Ability to work in a remote office environment
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require
  • Ability to participate in meetings, presentations, and collaborative planning sessions
