GOR Group is currently supporting a leading mission critical organization seeking a Project Manager - Data Center Construction to support a large-scale data center construction project in Bowling Green, Ohio.

This individual will oversee the full lifecycle of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, financial oversight, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced construction environment.

What You'll DoProject Leadership & Execution
  • Lead day-to-day construction management activities utilizing established project management methodologies
  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules
  • Oversee project execution from planning through completion
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
  • Identify, document, and manage project changes using structured change management processes
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Champion a strong safety culture and enforce site safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, codes, and regulations
  • Drive quality assurance and quality control efforts through documentation and reporting
  • Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to client and project requirements
Financial & Contract Management
  • Support project budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Monitor expenditures and track project financial performance
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and supplier relationships
  • Review and approve invoices while ensuring contract compliance
  • Work across various project delivery methods including GMP, Design-Build, Fixed Price, Cost-Plus, and Time & Material contracts
Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership
  • Deliver project updates, risk assessments, and milestone reporting
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and project briefings
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Resolve field issues and project conflicts efficiently
  • Utilize project data and analytics to support decision-making
  • Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the project team
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience in a leadership or management role
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and estimating principles
  • Experience managing project changes and associated documentation
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, Textura, and related construction software platforms
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing data center construction projects
  • Experience managing structured cabling infrastructure projects
  • Experience working within mission critical environments
  • Familiarity with multiple construction contract and delivery models
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • BICSI RCDD Certification
  • BICSI RTPM Certification
