Reporting to the Operations Manager, the MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, financial performance, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects within residential and commercial MDU environments. The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams, manages client relationships, oversees project schedules and budgets, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced telecommunications environment and can effectively balance operational, financial, client, and team management responsibilities across multiple projects.

What You'll Do Here:ย 

  • Manage the full lifecycle of MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) telecommunications projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate Project Coordinators, CAD Technicians, Designers, Construction teams, Vendors, and Subcontractors to support successful project execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various locations and customer portfolios.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, developers, property managers, and other stakeholders, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, profitability, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain project trackers, and ensure all revisions, risks, and changes are properly documented.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by conducting site visits, supporting safety inspections and audits, and ensuring compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates, financial reports, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
  • Resolve project-level issues and disputes while escalating complex concerns as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure project activities align with company policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

What You Bring to The Team:ย 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Construction, or MDU industry.
  • Post-secondary education in Telecommunications, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of MDU telecommunications deployments, project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and change management.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications construction practices, design coordination, permitting, and project delivery processes.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project profitability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating resources across multiple projects.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage project documentation, reporting, and tracking requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Valid Class G driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

The expected pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year.ย 

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
