RESPONSIBILITIES

U.S. FinTech is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who thrives on turning complex initiatives into clear, executable plans and takes pride in delivering results. In this role you will help to oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives including multi-year enterprise-wide IT and Delivery projects, as well as various process transformation efforts.  As a part of the ePMO Execution and Governance team, you will also help to shape and mature best practices and tools for project and product delivery.

Key Job Functions

  • Support execution of various IT Delivery in partnership with other Leaders representing Development, Infrastructure, InfoSec, Data Management, Business Operations and Risk organizations.
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, from estimation and business case approval through execution, go-live readiness, product launch and benefit reporting post-go-live
  • Partner with cross-organizational stakeholders to drive process improvement and optimization efforts.
  • In partnership with leaders across organization, own maturation of the estimation process and tools for new Programs and Products. Facilitate the estimation process as needed. 
  • Create and actively maintain the project plan and cross functional dependencies.
  • Continuously monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders (using relevant Agile and waterfall metrics).
  • Keep senior management advised of significant trends, emerging risks and other issues. Provide recommendations and drive issue resolution.
  • Facilitate team meetings and key Agile ceremonies.
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to managing one or more projects from initiation through completion.
  • Contribute to the continued maturation of the project management methodology, best practice frameworks and related tools.
  • Support Enterprise level initiative planning, prioritization and budgeting process.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education   

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience working in a large-scale IT production and development environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Previous experience managing large, complex, highly cross functional software development efforts is required (i.e. coordinating across 5+ delivery workstreams / departments)
  • Ability to drive enterprise level business and technology transformation projects is required
  • Strong project management skills (schedule development and management, meeting facilitation, execution monitoring, status reporting, and risk management).
  • Ability to produce and deliver Executive level presentations via PowerPoint and accurately read your audience, articulate presentation of ideas, and influence change.
  • Experience working in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid environments
  • Strong achievement orientation and attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, matrix environment.
  • Ability to collect/analyze data and formulate business recommendations for senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create presentation materials for Executive audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others on team.
  • Proficiency with key MS products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Agile Portfolio management tools such as JIRA
  • Top tier management consulting industry background preferred.
  • Experience with bid / estimation processes for new custom development efforts preferred.

Pay Range $132,000 to $156,500

U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. U.S. FinTech offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
