Summary:

In this role, you will lead the development, execution, and continuous optimization of high-impact capital equipment sourcing programs that deliver measurable client and supplier value while strengthening contract commitment and utilization. This role provides strategic oversight of program operations and quality assurance, leveraging data, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities, track performance, and drive results. The Senior Program Manager partners cross-functionally with clients, suppliers, sales, and internal stakeholders to accelerate sales enablement, revenue growth, contract adoption and utilization, compliance, and operational excellence. You will proactively resolve complex issues, strengthen client and supplier relationships, and develop scalable solutions that maximize program performance and long-term business impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage program structures, processes, and procedures to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
  • Develop promotional materials and training resources and educate internal and external clients on program components.
  • Support contracting teams to drive contract utilization, and onboard clients into key programs.
  • Identify client and supplier targets for new business opportunities and develop new value propositions and program capabilities.
  • Manage client and supplier issues, adjustments, and ad hoc requests to support effective program operations.
  • Coordinate and participate in periodic business reviews with key clients and suppliers.
  • Partner with leadership to support councils and panel meetings.
  • Establish and track program success metrics, deliverables, and goal achievement, including financial incentives, participation, contract utilization, and enrollment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in a group purchasing organization (GPO) environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
