Personnel responsibilities include justification, recruiting, selecting, training, and recommendinghiring and firing. Work requires a basic concern for the quality of care, a concern for helping the substance abuser,a belief in human potential for growth and a willingness to coordinate and work cooperatively.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Responsible for the planning, coordinating, supervising and overall management of work associated withdaily supervision of program operations, to include the management of performance measures, financials,personnel and resolving urgent and emergent issues before, during and after hours, and reporting anyissues to the Divisional Director/Vice President of Prevention Intervention Strategies.· Ensuring program operations, services, and personnel remain in compliance with contracts,licensing/grant requirements and with federal, state, local, and organizational rules, regulations andpolicies and procedures.· Collaborating as required with grant proposals and community activities.· Preparing and submitting program reports, organizational reports, and other status and compliancereports as requested by the Divisional Director/Administrator, or other designated supervisor, and in atimely manner.· Attending department, supervisory, and contract required meetings/calls, and disseminating informationto staff as necessary for them to perform their job functions.· Responsible for identifying sufficient staffing patterns, defining job requirements, training, andevaluating staff. Responsible for supervising and managing of time off requests, timecards, overtime,and sufficient coverage in assigned department.· Responsible for ensuring the employees and programs are prepared for federal, state, and accreditingentity inspections and audits at all times.· Responsible for monthly and quarterly file reviews and ensuring compliance of client records withstatement of work and quality treatment practices.· Assisting with screenings, assessments, intakes, and individual and group counseling services asneeded, and to include carrying a caseload when warranted.· Representing the organizational by speaking before public on substance use and/or mental health,education, prevention, and treatment.· Maintains good work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism.
