Job description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the Media Generation product group. You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Media Generation and serve as the product leader across a matrixed organization spanning engineering, AI research, design, user research, product marketing, and go to market teams.You'll work closely with our internal team and external partners, the leading Generative AI companies to shape joint product experiences that lead the market and work quickly to implement the latest models in short timeframes to ensure Adobe's customers have the best models available.

This role is a rare opportunity to shape a new, AI firstproduct atglobal scale. You will help define the next generation of creative tooling, work closely with customers, and help Studio become an essential creative surface for the next generation of artists, designers, and creative technologists!

What You'll Do

Define and own thelong-termproduct vision, articulating how creators concept, generate, iterate, and produce their work

Lead the Media Generation product roadmap byidentifyinghigh impact opportunities, prioritizing features, defining success metrics, and supportingend to enddelivery.

Buildcreatorfirst workflows that feel powerful, expressive, and intuitive for artists, designers, and technical creatives.

Partner closely with engineering, AI research, design, user research, and platform teams to deliver a cohesive, scalable product experience.

Manage fast moving, agentic product development efforts with cross functional teams

Manage and implement fast moving features at scale in close collaboration with the industry's leading Generative AI partners so Adobe always has the best model available to our customers.

Translate complex AI systems and abstractions into clear, usable product experiences that work across a wide range of creator skill levels.

Drive rapid iteration through prototyping, experimentation, and direct engagement with creators.

Help how Media Generation fits into Adobe's broader AI platform strategy and Creative Cloud ecosystem.

Share the product vision inside and outside Adobe, gathering feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams to guide product direction.

Build, lead, and mentor a high performing team of product managers by setting a high bar for product craft, ownership, and execution.

What's Needed for Success

10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of complex, multi surface products.

A deep understanding of generative and assistive ai technologies

Proven experience building products for creators, artists, designers, or creative technologists.

Experience leadingproductin a matrixed organization and influencing across engineering, design, research,and go tomarket teams.

Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous, zero to oneideasand turn them into shipped, scaled products.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams implementing new partner technology at fast turns in a dynamic market environment

Strong product judgment and systems thinking, with comfort working at the intersection of UX, technical architecture, and AI capabilities.

A builder's mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and learning through shipping.

Strong communicationskills and ability to align senior leaders and cross functional partners around a clear product narrative.

Experience with AI powered products, developer platforms, or visual orgraph-basedtools is a strong plus.

Bachelor'sdegreerequired with a preference for Computer Science or Product Design. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $172,400 -- $334,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $231,000 - $334,500

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
