Job Description
Position Summary
  • Responsible for the expert delivery of business process and performance management engagements, working with finance leadership of the company.
  • This position will take on a lead/manager role supporting the management and execution of finance transformation projects to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for the organization.
  • Project roles will include analyzing current enterprise processes, performance indicators, and best practices to determine the optimal business processes and driving value through the finance organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1) Design enterprise processes and lead process improvement initiatives with in finance.
2) Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and methods of improving operations.
3) Work with different groups within the organization (accounting, finance, IT operations, etc.) and process teams to ensure alignment around processes and capabilities.
4) Communicate with process stakeholders and customers at senior executive levels.
5) Manages financial systems analysts, capital billings specialists and trains departmental staff as needed.
6) Leads the development, implementation, and administration of the organization's financial systems. Researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements ad ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements.
7) Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • 5-10 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organizations is required, experience working for large professional services firm preferred
  • Demonstrated success with implementation of the following strategic methods: business process re-engineering (BPR), process improvement, business case development, ROI calculations, quality and process frameworks, organizational design, performance measurement frameworks, and project management is required.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies employed by private and public corporations.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Experience streamlining reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes is strongly preferred.
  • Performance measurement system (scorecard) design and implementation experience is preferred.
  • Experience with optimizing finance operations, such as Order to Cash or Procure to Pay is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (BPR, etc.) is plus.
