Job Description

Are you detail-oriented with a knack for customer communication and a background in trucking or dealership service? TCI is looking for a Body Shop Invoicer to keep our repair order process running accurately and efficiently.

Shift Available:

  • This position will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

What You'll Do

You'll be the bridge between our Body Shop and our customers - reviewing completed repair orders for accuracy, coordinating with our Warranty team, and making sure invoices go out correctly and on time. Day to day, that looks like:

  • Reviewing RO packets to confirm documentation meets company and OEM warranty requirements
  • Analyzing estimates and collaborating with teammates to catch and correct discrepancies before they become problems
  • Reading, summarizing, and editing tech notes in our Dealer Management System (Procede) while preserving accurate complaint, cause, and work-performed narratives
  • Confirming parts and labor charges, securing authorizations, and sending invoices to customers
  • Using warranty resources to look up documentation processes, OEM policies, and account status for accurate coding
  • Scanning and organizing completed ROs into our file management system
  • Working with the Warranty department to close invoices and resolve deficiencies
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction reports and taking action to protect TCI's reputation for service
  • Tracking open ROs and helping the team meet average days-to-close goals
  • Answering customer questions about billing and repairs with a calm, solutions-focused approach
Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical, trucking, or dealer service (2+ years preferred)
  • Knowledge of Service and/or Body Shop department operations; Mechanical aptitude or truck repair experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal communications skills, even in times of stress
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch errors before they leave your desk
  • Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and MS Office with 30wpm typing capability; Procede software experience is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
