  • Drive accountability across the organization through clear communication, excellent planning, and maintain a finger on the pulse of the sales to delivery process.
  • Align order intake with plant capacity and production planning to prevent overcommitment.

Sales & Commercial Coordination

  • Participate in pre-award and post-award reviews to confirm scope clarity and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure disciplined handoff from Sales to Engineering and Operations through structured kickoff processes.
  • Provide Sales with realistic production schedules and recovery plans when delays arise.
  • Collaborate with Sales on change orders, scope revisions, and cost impacts during production.
  • Support strategic accounts by aligning delivery performance with customer expectations.
  • Contribute operational input into pricing strategy where complexity, customization, or risk is elevated.

Manufacturing & Production Execution

  • Coordinate with Supply Planning for complex, customized builds.
  • Ensure accurate BOM release, routing structure, and job costing prior to production start.
  • Coordinate with Production on fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing, and testing activities.
  • Monitor WIP across departments and resolve bottlenecks impacting throughput.
  • Lead execution reviews to maintain schedule integrity and labor efficiency.

Delivery & Customer Commitment

  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) performance meets or exceeds company targets.
  • Mitigate schedule risk through proactive issue identification and recovery planning.
  • Communicate delivery risks and mitigation plans to Sales in a timely, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Ensure final documentation, certifications, and compliance requirements align with customer contracts.
  • Coordinate shipment timing and logistics in alignment with customer delivery commitments.

Financial & Margin Accountability

  • Monitor project-level cost performance against estimate.
  • Analyze labor hour variances and material cost deviations.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project health, financial exposure, and delivery risk.
  • Partner with Sales to maintain margin discipline on custom or expedited projects.

Risk & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead risk identification efforts related to engineering delays, long-lead materials, or capacity constraints.
  • Reduce rework and revision cycles through stronger Sales-to-Engineering-to-Manufacturing alignment.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to improve estimating accuracy and future quoting precision.
  • Standardize execution playbooks across product lines to support scalable growth.
